2003

  • LDS Charities and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who has consistently helped the Foundation with clothes, milk powder, nutritional food for last ten years, committed this year to pay for the freight of 24 containers of various supplies to India.
  • Over $2,000,000 worth medical equipments and supplies sent to over 20 medical facilities across India.

2002

  • AT & T selected Share and Care Foundation and gave $75000 grant to establish AT&T Technology Park in India.

2001

  • a yearlong commitment to help people of Gujarat earthquake victims. Over $5,000,000 in cash and kind invested to build local schools, clinics, hospitals, houses, micro loan program and clean water supplies. We received support of more than 45 corporations and thousands of compassionate donors who trusted the ability of the Foundation's volunteers to move with speed and invest in worthy projects. Help reached to estimated 250,000 people.
  • $186,000 legacy received from Late Mr. Shriram Biyani
  • $131,000 donated to Indian Institute of Technology, Kharakpur,W.Bengal for advancement of science and technology.
  • $131,000 awarded to University of Calcutta for a chair in Medicine
  • A Blood Bank was constructed in Aurangabad in partnership with Dattaji Bhale Blood Bank.
  • Involved in relief effort after 9/11 tragedy.
  • $600,000 worth of medical equipment sent to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.
  • "Noble Leader" a book written by Mr. G. Narayana dedicated to the members of the Foundation.

2000

  • Agilent Technologies Foundation awarded $63000 grant to the Foundation for "Mother and Child care project

1999

  • Lucent Technologies- a major USA corp.- gave $500,000 grant to our Foundation for youth development projects in India. Over 1300 youth received educational and vocational training.

1997

  • 106 units of Hem dialysis machines were sent to various medical institutions across India. Total value over $750,000 and over 10,000 patients benefiting yearly.

1996

  • Scholarship program in USA was extended to include one medical student.

1995

  • Invited 35 physically challenged children from India to perform in USA;a unique and well-received Fund Raising experiment.

1994

  • Initiated scholarship program for needy but bright undergrad students in USA.
  • School on Wheels- an innovative educational idea was implemented in Rajkot with the help of Sister Nivedita Charitable Trust.
  • Received a prestigious award from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in deep appreciation for dedicated services to the welfare of the poor.

1993

  • Latur, Maharashtra earthquake received over $150,000 to build schools, clinics and homes. Our major partner in India was Ramakrishna Mission who supervised the whole effort.

1992

  • A first major endowment from Drs. Leena and Nitin Doshi of New York to start a program "English as Second Language" for recently migrated children from India enrolling in USA school system.

1991

  • "Anjali"- a 30-bed hospital in Ranasan-Gujarat was funded by the Foundation.

1990

  • $125,000 invested in a Medical training center in rural Jhagadia.Since 1990 center is training local volunteers and paramedics who visits remote places and provides pre and post natal care, awareness of family planning and child health care, immunization.

1988

  • Undertaken a major initiative and a model project of adopting 4 villages for integrated solutions to social, economical and environmental problems. Provided hybrid seeds, bovine hormones to stimulate milk production, installing gobar gas plants, opening of Balwadis and adult education classes. Three-year project changed the whole economy of those villages.

1987

  • Clean Water Project initiated in Karampukur Water Reservoir, W. Bengal.
  • Drought relief projects in the area of well digging and providing food for cows and other animals to stop migration.

1986

  • CT Scanner found a home at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, Kidney dialysis machines at Poona Research Hospital and ambulance at Poona Blind Men's Association.

1985

  • Our first major relief project: Bhopal Gas Leak: 2000 people were killed and thousand suffered permanent lungs and eyes damage. The Foundation contributed $10,000 towards opening an eye clinic and $40,000 in sutures and other medical supplies.

1984

  • "Adopt children for education "-$50 a year per student-received overwhelming support and started the initiative with 50 slums and handicapped children in and around Bombay.

1983

  • First shipment of 2000lbs of used clothes sent to various orphanages and street children. First Fund raising program raised $15000

1982
