Over twenty three years ago, Share and Care Foundation's seeds were planted in a small friendly weekend gathering in New Jersey. Those seeds have taken root and sprouted in this community. What began as an idea to send used clothes and medical equipment.

Share and Care's programs and their detailed process of evaluating and monitoring projects has been recognized by many corporations. As a result, Share and Care has been awarded grants from the following:

  1. Lucent Technologies Foundation had awarded $ 500,000 grant over 3 year period for youth development projects.
  2. A T & T Foundation has awarded :
    • $40,000 grant in 2004 for community projects in USA and in India.
    • $75,000 grant in 2003 for community programs in India . The funds will be used for the expansion of Share and Care Youth Development Programs in India, including the development of AT&T Technology Park. The first of its kind in India, the park will provide technological training and business outsourcing opportunities for disabled students.
    • $ 50,000 grant in 2002 for community projects in India
    • $ 50,000 grant in 2001 for community projects in India
  3. LDS Charities and the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , Salt Lake City, Utah has been our long term supporter. Over last 10 years they have donated number of containers of Used clothes, milk powder and other nutritional supplies. For current year they have committed to donate 24 containers.
  4. Agilent Technologies Foundation has awarded $ 63,000 grant for our Mother and Child care project.
